Oct 2018 - Thanks to Omagh High School for including Omagh Women's Aid in their recent Harvest Assembly.

Omagh Women's Aid were delighted to be invited to attend Omagh High School's recent Harvest celebration.  The Board, staff and volunteers would like to thank Omagh High School staff, pupils and their families for their kind food donations.

What is Domestic violence?

Domestic violence is the intentional and persistent physical, emotional or sexual abuse of a woman and her children, in a way that causes pain, distress or injury and can lead to loss of life.


Any woman can experience domestic violence, regardless of her age, race, nationality, social class, sexuality, disability, marital status or religious belief.


Domestic violence is a crime.
